Did you know that St. John's Church was founded as an inclusive church in Owosso in 1894? What is an "inclusively covenantal" church anyway? This sermon takes a trip through time as we trace our roots back to the earliest Christian church that emerged right after Jesus’ death and resurrection.

The Bible is a powerful tool for us as a church, and for us as individual Christians in our spiritual growth. This sermon looks at the history of the Bible and why we use the Bible to lift up and bring people together, not to divide and discriminate.

The command to “love your neighbor as yourself” shows up throughout the Bible. This sermon talks about the central nature of love in our church and ways to apply "Love Thy Neighbor" in our lives today.

What's the difference between prayer and meditation? Is it possible to pray without ceasing like it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17? Pastor Mike shares some practical tips on the spiritual practice of prayer.
