The St. John’s UCC Food Pantry distributes free food to local families and individuals in need from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

Food is a ministry at St. John's UCC.

Thanks to a small team of dedicated volunteers and the support of the Shiawassee Hunger Network and Greater Lansing Food Bank, the St. John's UCC Food Pantry provides groceries once a month to approximately 80 local households. Each household is given three meals for five days, per person.

We also serve a free community breakfast every Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m.

We are blessed with and grateful for the help of various local organizations and volunteers who come to St. John's UCC on Saturday mornings to cook for and serve our guests.

In 2018, the St John's UCC Food Pantry distributed 37,215 meals at about 17¢ per meal!

Do you feel called to help with this ministry?

We are currently in need of volunteers and would welcome your help!

Plus we are always grateful for cash donations of any size, and for donations of perishable foods.
